Your Guide to Rock Solid Digestion

If you are looking to improve gut health, you are in the right place. For years, growing up, I thought it was completely normal to have digestive issues. I thought everyone experienced the bloating, pain, and constipation. Although occasional stomach upset is normal, experiencing it every day to the point of affecting your daily activities is not O.K. and can lead to serious health issues. You see, your digestive health says a lot about your overall health. You can imagine how important it is for our bodies to obtain the nutrients they need; you can connect the dots and understand that your gut plays an important part in that. Your digestive tract is where food breaks down into its simplest forms so that nutrients from the digestive lining can get absorbed into your bloodstream and delivered to the cells in your body that use them for metabolic processes that keep you alive and well.

So what happens when digestion goes wrong? It means nutrients don’t get delivered to your cells, and over time, you feel ill, even depressed, as your brain lacks the necessary nutrients to produce neurotransmitters. Not to mention obesity and hormonal imbalances. Your well-being is directly affected by the foods you eat and your gut’s ability to break down, absorb, and assimilate the nutrients from those foods. You could be eating the best diet, but if your digestion is compromised, then you may very well be malnourished.

I know from personal experience how frustrating it can be to have poor digestion. The bloating, the pain, and slow elimination [aka constipation]; oh, the horrors. As a result of poor digestion, I’ve experienced low iron anemia, fatigue, poor skin health, brittle nails, dry hair, and painful bloating. I’m convinced that poor gut health ultimately led to my diagnosis of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, an autoimmune condition that has taken a toll on my health for years.

I wish I had addressed my gut health sooner, but I didn’t have the know-how to fix it. That is why I’m making it my life’s mission to educate others on the importance of gut health. Digestive health is critical to achieving maximum health and impacts every organ system in your body, including metabolism, reaching a healthy weight, stabilizing blood sugar, optimal detoxification, hormonal balance, and so much more.

If you are tired and frustrated of suffering from stomach upset, gas, bloating, or pain or have already been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), or Leaky gut (intestinal permeability), welcome to my world. Healing starts here.
